Husam Nadhim
(born January 18, 1993, in Baghdad) is a film composer specializing in original scores that enrich cinematic storytelling with evocative and emotionally compelling music.
His work spans films, TV series, and commercials, with credits including the short film Earth is Weeping, Its Water are Tears (featured at the 2022 Red Sea International Film Festival), the feature films 90 Days and Alwakeel, and the TV series The Cave and Family X.
In 2024, Husam was selected for the Red Sea Labs program of the Red Sea International Film Festival, where he trained under composer Simon Franglen (Avatar: The Way of Water). He has also participated in several international workshops, further refining his expertise in composition, orchestration, and sound design.
With a growing reputation in the Middle Eastern film industry, Husam is committed to bringing global standards of film scoring into regional cinema, offering directors and producers music that elevates their stories to international platforms. His current projects expand beyond Iraq, with a vision to collaborate on films across the Arab world and internationally.
